How Pulse Resolve protects your infrastructure, handles credentials, and the boundaries of automated remediation.

Security Architecture

All operations run inside sovereign compute chambers. There is zero shared infrastructure between clients or sessions. Each repair session is sealed within its own isolated boundary, executed under strict deterministic controls, and destroyed upon completion. No session state persists. No cross-contamination is possible.

D/CI Engine — Deterministic Computational Intelligence

The D/CI engine is not artificial intelligence. It is a deterministic computational system that operates under strict constraints:

  • Instruction-bound — executes only pre-defined remediation playbooks
  • Deterministic — same input always produces the same output
  • Scoped — cannot access resources outside its defined operational boundary
  • Validated — every action is verified against expected outcomes before execution

It cannot hallucinate, improvise, or touch anything outside its defined scope. There is no generative model involved in infrastructure operations.

Credential Handling

All credentials are ephemeral. They exist only during the active repair session and are subject to the following guarantees:

  • Encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Never persisted beyond session lifetime — zero retention
  • Forensic vaporization upon session completion — all credential material is cryptographically destroyed
  • SHA-256 destruction certificate available upon request, providing cryptographic proof of elimination

Fix Disclaimer

Automated fixes are deterministic, but infrastructure is complex. Fixes may not resolve the issue on the first attempt. In such cases:

  • The system will retry with adjusted parameters based on observed state
  • If automation cannot resolve the issue, a human specialist is assigned at no additional cost for the same issue
  • Pulse Resolve is not liable for downstream effects of authorized changes made to your infrastructure
  • All changes are logged in an immutable audit trail — full transparency on every action taken

Network Security

All communications are encrypted with TLS 1.3. No data is stored on shared infrastructure. Session data is isolated within sovereign compute boundaries with no lateral network access. The Pulse Secure Browser provides additional isolation via hardware-bound session keys, ensuring that even the client device cannot be used as an attack vector.

Audit Trail

Every action performed during a repair session is logged in a hash-chained immutable ledger. Each entry is cryptographically linked to the previous entry, making tampering detectable and provable. Clients can request a full audit export at any time during or after an engagement.

Responsible Disclosure

Security researchers who discover vulnerabilities in the Pulse Resolve platform are encouraged to report them responsibly. Please contact security@pulseresolve.com with details. We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and work with you to validate and remediate the issue.

Compliance

Pulse Resolve is PIPEDA compliant, with SOC 2 Type II alignment currently in progress. Our zero-retention architecture inherently satisfies the data minimization requirements of most compliance frameworks. Additional certifications are pursued as client requirements evolve.
